BOCAUE, Bulacan – Trucks, wide vehicles and cargo will not be allowed to take the Bocaue interchange of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) from Monday (July 2) until July 15 to give way to a two-week long roadwork.

NLEX officials advised motorists to expect traffic inconvenience in the area, “with the temporary closure of the fourth lane of the exit lane for wide vehicles and trucks and cargo… in that strategic NLEX junction in Bulacan.”

To help deal with heavy traffic, the NLEX Corporation in a statement said it would fielding more traffic management patrols as it advised cargo companies and truck drivers to take other exits and entry points as they continued to use the highway.

NLEX operators said the company would repave sections of the interchange lane frequently used by cargo trucks. /cbb
