2 drug pushers killed in Laguna buy bust

SAN PEDRO CITY-Two suspected drug pushers were killed in a buy bust operation in Biñan City in Laguna early Saturday.

One of the slain men was identified only as alias Dante while the other suspect remains unidentified.

The Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (Calabarzon) police in a report said that after selling drugs to undercover policemen at around 4:30 a.m. in Barangay (village) Canlalay, the suspects attempted to flee while shooting at the law enforcers. The police officers then returned fire, killing the two suspects.

An initial police report from the Biñan City police said a caliber .38 revolver and a 9 mm pistol were recovered from the suspects. Also recovered from the suspects were a still undetermined amount of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth).  /muf
