2 bodies dumped in ComVal town

Police were investigating if the two bullet-riddled bodies dumped on a roadside in Maco town, Compostela Valley, on Wednesday could be tied to the killing of a newly elected village councilor there on Tuesday.

Chief Insp. Milgrace Driz, Southern Mindanao police spokesperson, said the unidentified victims who bore gunshot wounds to the head, might have been killed elsewhere and just dumped along the Tagum-Mati Road in the village of Anislagan, Maco.

No gunshots were heard since Tuesday until the bodies were found around 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Driz said.—FRINSTON LIM
