3 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Quezon
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three suspected drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon province on Thursday and Friday.
Senior Supt. Osmundo de Guzman, Quezon police chief, said a drug enforcement unit collared Rechelle “Che-che” Solano, 37, after she sold crystal meth (shabu) to an undercover policeman in Barangay (village) Lusacan in Tiaong town around 1 a.m. Friday.
The suspect yielded five plastic sachets containing shabu weighing eight grams worth P40,000 in the street market.
According to the police, the remnants of busted drug syndicates in Quezon were using women as distributors of illegal drugs to avoid suspicion from the authorities.
Earlier, illegal drugs operatives also arrested Napoleon Aguilo, 42, in another buy-bust operation in Barangay Paiisa also in Tiaong.
In Candelaria, police also busted suspected drug pusher Josephat de Ramos, 45, in an operation on Thursday night. Police seized less than one gram of shabu each from Aguilo and De Ramos.
