Update
The wide vehicle exit lane at the Bocaue Interchange Exit of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) will be temporarily closed from July 2 to 15, 2018 due to the regular pavement works, according to NLEx Corporation.
According to a statement from the corporation on Thursday, the repairs on the said lane which is primarily used by trucks exiting to Bocaue, Bulacan will provide a “high standard of service over the long term.”
The rest of the southbound Bocaue Interchange lanes would remain open. However, NLEx advised truckers and other wide commercial vehicles to find alternate routes, as the remaining exits cannot accommodate them.
Aside from fixing the pavement, NLEx would also conduct asphalting of the entry and exit ramps of the both the northbound and southbound Bocaue exits, from 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the following dates:
June 25 to July 1: Northbound Exit Ramp
July 2 to 8: Northbound Entry
July 2 to 15: Southbound Entry
July 16 to 26: Southbound Exit Ramp
NLEx said that it expects traffic build-up as the interchange is located about a kilometer before the Bocaue Toll Plaza, which Manila-bound vehicles use.
To counter this, the corporation said that they placed warning and road signs and assigned traffic personnel to manage the traffic flow./ac
