Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III paid a quick visit to Sen. Leila de Lima on Thursday in Camp Crame where she is being detained.

Sotto spoke with De Lima at the Camp Crame Custodial Center for 37 minutes.

Sotto said he visited De Lima to check on her status and how she can participate in Senate hearings.

“Binisita ko si Sen. de Lima para makita ang kanyang kalagayan,” the Senate President said in a statement.
