NPD nabs 4 drug suspects in separate buy-bust ops
The Northern Police District (NPD) seized a total of P2.1 million worth of shabu and arrested four suspected drug personalities following a string of buy-bust operations on Tuesday and early Wednesday in Caloocan and Pasay.
According to a spot report, Caloocan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the first operation at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday along Masagana St., barangay (village) 73, where three suspects were arrested.
An undercover officer posed as a buyer and bought a plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) from one of the suspects.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Ivy De Luna, Eligio Ramos, and Danica Dionisio.
The police the three suspects conspired to sell and deliver one plastic sachet of the substance.

Article continues after this advertisementThrough the arrests of the three suspects, police were able to conduct a follow-up operation at around 12:10 a.m. Wednesday leading to the arrest of a certain Jerome Gaje.
De Luna was the one who pinned Gaje as her source of the illegal substance.
Policemen made the arrest along P. Burgos St. in Pasay City, where Gaje sold another undercover operative a sachet containing 70 grams of shabu.
Authorities recovered at the scene of the arrest some 150 grams of suspected shabu amounting to P1.4 million.
Policemen are preparing a case against the suspects before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office, while confiscated evidence has been turned over to the PNP’s Crime Laboratory office in Camp Crame for examination and custody.
The suspects are facing charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Daphnie Beltran / INQUIRER.net intern /jpv
