A ridge of high pressure area will affect the northern and central Luzon, the state weather bureau said Sunday.
In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that temperatures may reach up to 36 degrees celsius in the country.
Pagasa said that Tuguegarao City would have this high temperature while Metro Manila would have a 34 degrees celsius heat.
Despite this, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
Pagasa warned the residents to be alert for possible flash floods and landslides caused by the light to moderate to at times heavy rains. /je
