The southwest monsoon will bring rain over the Ilocos region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Saturday.
In its morning weather forecast, the state weather bureau said the Ilocos region would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms due to the said weather disturbance.
It advised residents to take caution for possible flooding specially in low lying areas.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that possible flash floods or landslides are also expected due to moderate to heavy rains. /muf
