Duterte appoints Casquejo as Comelec commissioner

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Marlon Casquejo as a commissioner of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Casquejo, whose appointment paper was signed on June 18, will replace Christian Robert Lim, who retired in February 2018.

Casquejo served as the assistant regional election director of Comelec-Davao prior to his latest appointment.

Duterte still has to appoint another Comelec commissioner to appoint to replace Arthur Lim, whose term also ended on February 2018.   /muf
