Woman hit, dragged by PNR train in Manila

A woman died after a Philippine National Railway (PNR) train rammed and dragged her at least 15 meters along Perlita Street, San Andres, Manila, Tuesday morning.

A Radyo Inquirer report said people tried to call the woman’s attention about the oncoming train but failed to prevent the accident.

The victim, who was reportedly wearing a gray shirt and yellow short pants, remained unidentified.

Police are investigating the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage in the area to determine the cause of the mishap, the report said.
