A wet Father’s Day in Luzon – Pagasa

The southwest monsoon will bring moderate to heavy rain to Luzon on Father’s Day, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its Sunday morning forecast, the weather bureau said the provinces of Pangasinan, Bataan, and Zambales would be affected.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, the rest of the Ilocos Region, Batanes, the Babuyan Islands, Cavite, Batangas, and the rest of Central Luzon.

Pagasa warned the public of possible flooding and landslides due to occasional heavy rain brought by the monsoon. /cbb
