Construction worker shot dead outside computer shop in Dagupan City

Dagupan — A 22-year-old construction worker was standing outside a computer shop when motorcycle-riding gunmen shot him several times on Thursday night, police said.

Aries Vejuco was in Barangay Bolosan when the incident happened at about 7:20 p.m.

He died while being treated in a hospital, according to Supt. Marcos Anod, deputy police chief.

Investigators are still looking into the motive for the attack.

Recovered from the crime scene were seven pieces of empty shells from a .45 caliber pistol.  /vvp
