Charter change: No campaign funds from foreigners

A Charter change committee headed by former Chief Justice Reynato Puno seeks to ban campaign contributions from religious organizations and foreigners under the proposed federal form of government.

This would address unequal campaign funding among parties, transparency, campaign overspending and corruption, a consultative committee official said on Thursday. —JULIUS N. LEONEN
