The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said on Thursday that several scheduled flights have been canceled due to bad weather.

Two roundtrip flights from Manila to Basco, Batanes were cancelled: CebGo Flight DG 6009/6010, and Skyjet flight M8 818/ 819.

PAL Express’s roundtrip flight 2P 2196/ 2197 from Manila to Laoag, Ilocos Norte was canceled as well.

The cancelation was brought about by the current inclement weather being experienced in some parts of the country.

According to the latest bulletin from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the northern and western provinces of Luzon may experience light to moderate with occasional heavy rains due to the southwest monsoon.
