Man grabs gun, shoots cop in Zamboanga Sibugay
PAGADIAN CITY – A man arrested on murder charges fled police custody by grabbing the firearm of a police officer after he was processed for booking at 9:55 a.m.Wednesday in Tungawan town, Zamboanga Sibugay province.
In a report, the Tungawan police identified the suspect as Joemar Banggi Aukasa.
Aukasa had just been processed for detention and was being escorted to the holding cell when he grabbed the firearm of Police Officer 3 Rommel dela Cruz and shot him on the left arm before fleeing.

He brought with him the firearm.
