US Embassy in Manila closed on June 15

The United States Embassy in Manila has announced it will be closed on June 15, Friday, in observance of Eid’l Fitr or end of Ramadan.

In an advisory on Wednesday, the US Embassy said the one-day closure also covers its affiliated offices across the country.

“The Embassy and affiliated offices will resume their services on Monday, June 18,” the advisory noted,

On June 6, President Rodrigo Duterte signed Proclamation 514, declaring June 15, 2018 a regular holiday nationwide in observance of Eid’l Fitr. /kga
