Heavy rainfall alert in Metro Manila, nearby provinces

from Pagasa website

The state weather bureau issued a yellow rainfall warning over Metro Manila, Bataan, Zambales, and Batangas on Wednesday.

This means that flooding from heavy rainfall is threatening low-lying areas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) explained.

On the other hand, Bulacan, Pampanga, Rizal, and Laguna would experience light to moderate with occasional heavy rain within three hours.

Pagasa said the southwest monsoon continues to affect Luzon.   /kga
