Radio tour for Pinoy Pride boxers kicks off today

TWO weeks before the much-awaited Pinoy Pride X: IBF International Featherweight Championship showdown, the card’s local fighters will stage a radio tour in different stations across Metro Cebu.

The group will be headed by Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista who will stake his IBF International Featherweight belt against unbeaten Miguel Angel Mendoza on Dec. 10.

Mendoza has a 17-0, win-loss record with 17 knockouts.

Fight fans can ask their questions by calling the radio stations. They may also call in to win free tickets to the much-anticipated 10th installment of the Pinoy Pride mega-series.

They can also direct their questions to top Super Bantamweight prospect Genesis “Azukal” Servania and OPBF Flyweight champion Rocky “The Road Warrior” Fuentes.

Servania will take on Mexican Marcos “Geraldito” Cardenas while Fuentes will face Thailand’s Lookdiaw Tor Buamas, who has already obtained the WBC International Silver Light Flyweight diadem early in his professional career.

The schedule of the radio tour are as follows: Nov. 25 at Bombo Radyo (4:30 to 6 p.m.); Nov. 26 at dYLA (8-9 a.m.); Nov. 27 at dYRC ( 5-6 p.m.); Dec. 2 at dYKC (9:30-10:30 a.m.); Dec. 4 at dYSS (2-4 p.m.); Dec. 4 at dYHP (6:30-7:30 p.m.).

Pinoy Pride X is scheduled on Dec. 10 at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City. /PR
