Trump says human rights ‘was discussed’ with Kim

SINGAPORE — US President Donald Trump said he had raised the issue of human rights with Kim Jong Un when he met the North Korean leader earlier Tuesday.

“We did discuss it today, strongly” Trump said at a post-summit press conference in Singapore. “We will be doing something on it. It’s rough. It’s rough in a lot of places, by the way,” he added.
