Veteran broadcast journalist Dindo Amparo named new PBS-BBS chief

MANILA, Philippines — Veteran broadcast journalist Fernando “Dindo” Amparo Sanga was named the new director general of the Presidential Broadcast Service-Bureau of Broadcast Services (PBS-BBS).

According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), Amparo took his oath before Press Secretary Cesar Chavez on Wednesday night.

Also present at the ceremony was outgoing PBS-BBS Director General Rizal Giovanni Aportadera.

The PBS-BBS operates government-owned radio stations nationwide, including DZRB Radyo ng Bayan Manila.
