MANILA, Philippines — Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) members reportedly hurt fellow supporters on purpose and afterward blame law enforcers for the injuries sustained, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo said they obtained video evidence proving this claim when asked about the reported injuries sustained by some KJC members during a rally on Sunday night and ongoing service of arrest warrant at their compound.

“Meron tayong hawak na video ngayon na nagpapakita na meron silang lugar doon na mismong mga myembro ang nagsusugat sa kapwa nila myembro para ipakita at isisi sa kapulisan na dun galing yung injury nila (We already have a video showing that they have a plate there where members are injuring other members and blaming it on the police.),” Fajardo said.

“We are just waiting na ma-authenticate ’yung video na ito to show how desperate these people are para ipakita na inaabuso sila ng mga pulis natin, while on the contrary, ’yung mga pulis natin ang minumura, tinatadyakan, at sinasaktan but they maintained their composure at self restraint (We already have a video showing that they have a plate there where members are injuring other members and blaming it on the police.),” she added.
