MANILA, Philippines — The Legarda Flyover in Manila will be partially closed from July 6 to Nov. 6 for repairs, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) National Capital Region announced on Thursday.

“The expansion joints of the westbound lane heading to Legarda will be the first to require partial closure or half width of the whole lanes for replacement,” the post read.

“While the same procedure will be applied to the other half of the lanes upon their completion, as well as the eastbound lanes going to Magsaysay Boulevard,” it added.

The DPWH advised motorists to take alternative routes due to expected traffic congestion during the repair period.

Affected lanes will be opened immediately after completion, it added.
