First Lady greets President Marcos on Father’s Day

MANILA, Philippines — First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos greeted her husband, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., on Father’s Day Sunday (June 16).

In a post on her social media accounts, Araneta-Marcos shared a portrait of their family collaged through the years.

“Happy Father’s Day,” her caption reads.

Aside from Araneta-Marcos, the chief executive’s cousin, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, likewise extended his greetings to fathers nationwide.

“As we gather to celebrate Father’s Day, I want to extend my heartfelt greetings to all the amazing fathers, grandfathers and father figures throughout our nation,” he said.

“Today is a special day to honor and appreciate the incredible love, sacrifice and dedication you show every day,” the lawmaker added.
