Pagasa warns: Several areas in 8 regions may experience flooding

MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau said on Friday evening that several areas across eight regions nationwide may experience flooding due to rain brought about by Tropical Depression Aghon.

According to the advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the areas that may experience flood area:

Region 5 (Bicol Region)

Region 6 (Western Visayas)

Region 7 (Central Visayas)

Region 8 (Eastern Visayas)

Region 10 (Northern Mindanao)

Region 11 (Davao Region)

Region 13 (Caraga)

Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao

“People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils concerned advised to take necessary precautionary measures,” Pagasa added in its advisory.
