MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has been going around military camps to reiterate the fight against government destabilization, according to the Palace on Friday.

While traveling in Mindanao distributing aid to El Niño-struck communities on Thursday, May 23, Marcos met with soldiers of the 2nd Marine Brigade in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

(When I go around our camps, I always explain that our mission is to fight those who try to overthrow the government for whatever reason.)

(Our mission now includes continuous peace-making so we can give the fighters, the former fighters, a chance to have a better life where they are not hiding in the mountains.)
