Marcos said.

(Following our promise, our administration was able to provide P59.8 billion or 78.92 percent of the COVID health emergency allowance to our hero frontliners.)

Marcos said the announcement comes as the nation observes the Health Workers’ Day.

The President said during the pandemic, Filipino healthcare workers were able to show that they could serve wholeheartedly, displaying Filipino excellence.

Healthcare workers had long been waiting for their HEAs.

However, some of them still have yet to receive their allowances.
