“Upon the request of the Minister-General, with the permission of the minister provincial, yours truly, I propose that Friar Joel Sulce serve as general treasurer of the Orders of Friars Minor Curia in Rome,” Redoblado said.

The CBCP added that the OFM announced Sulce’s appointment in April and that he will formally assume his role in August.

Sulce was the previous parish priest of the St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Malabon City, and was Secretary for Formation and Studies of OFM Philippines, among other roles, the CBCP added.
