Malacañang reconstitutes human resource, promotion boards

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has ordered changes to the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSB) of the Office of the President for the first and second-level career positions.

According to the PCO on Saturday, the changes were done in Memorandum Order No. 24 released on May 2, and signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

The order will mandate that the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration will chair the HRMPSB and have the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs as vice-chair.

Other members of the HRMPSB will include the Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration, the Deputy Executive Secretary for Support Services and Auxiliaries, the Head of the Human Resource Management Office, and two representatives from the Office of the Executive Secretary.

Meanwhile, the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence of the Office of the President will be chaired by the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration.

Its members will be composed of a representative from the Office of the Executive Secretary, heads of the Human Resource Management Office, Legal Office, Finance Office, and the Technical Services Office, and representatives from the first, second, and third-level positions.
