As the country experiences one of the warmest summers brought about by El Nino, Manila Water ensures that 1,915 schools and 383 hospitals in the East Zone of Metro Manila and Rizal will have continuous water supply.

MANILA, Philippines — Two barangays in Marikina City will experience temporary water supply interruption from May 2 to 3 due to scheduled maintenance activity, the Manila Water Company announced.

In an advisory on Wednesday, Manila Water said that Barangays Concepcion Uno and Tamana will lose water connections starting at 10 p.m. on May 2 to 6 a.m. on May 3.

This will pave the way for the line maintenance activities that will be conducted in D. Mariano corner JP Rizal, Barangay Concepcion Uno.

Manila Water advised affected residents that once water service is restored, they should let the water flow out of their taps for a few minutes until the water becomes clear.
