ABUCAY, Bataan — Police confiscated around 200 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P1.3 million from four suspected drug pushers who were arrested in an operation on Saturday, April 27, in this town.
In a report, Major Jonathan Mostoles, Abucay police chief, said they arrested a live-in couple from Dinalupihan town and two other individuals at around 3 a.m. at a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Mabatang.
Police withheld the identities of the suspects.
Mostoles said Barangay Mabatang is known as a populous village where almost all residents are relatives.

“Their being closely-knit residents who are easily known to each other is a key to our successful operation in the area,” Mostoles said.
Police seized the drugs from the four suspects after they sold some to a poseur buyer.
“This is so far our biggest drug haul in Abucay and perhaps in Bataan province,” he said.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the source of illegal drugs.
The suspects were taken to jail and will be facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
