In the same interview, Araneta-Marcos did not hide her disdain for Vice President Sara Duterte’s behavior during the Davao political rally that her family organized in January. During the rally, former president Rodrigo Duterte called Ferdinand Marcos Jr. a drug addict. Liza Marcos said Sara Duterte was seen laughing at those remarks.

“For me, I got hurt because my husband will do everything to protect you. You ran together, ‘di ba; we will rise again together, then you go to a rally where the president is called a drug addict. Is that right? Even Leni never did that,” she said.
