This was despite the projected “dangerous” heat index in the metropolis, which is expected to range from 42 to 43 degrees Celsius.

On Wednesday, moderate and heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds occurred in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite.
