Synopsis

At 2 a.m. today, a Shallow Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 260 kms East of Visayas (12.0°N, 128.0°E).  

Forecast

Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the west to southwest will prevail Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate except during thunderstorms.
