MANILA, Philippines?A printing company is asking a Quezon City court to order actor Diether Ocampo and his business partners to pay P3.6 million for their alleged failure to pay the remaining balance of their obligation in the printing of a men?s magazine.
In a three-page complaint for sum of money, Velprint Corporation said Ocampo, his partner Neil Angelo Romero, and 5 Leaf Publishing Corp contracted its services from June 2 to December 28, 2009 for the printing of Uno, a men?s magazine.
The contract for P4,124,970 was covered by post-dated checks but despite full delivery of services, the defendants managed to pay only P490,000, leaving an unpaid balance of P3,643,970 as of July 22, 2010.
The civil complaint, filed by Velprint Corp general manager Leonardo Uy, was raffled off to Judge Bayani Vargas of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 219.
