MANILA, Philippines ? (UPDATE) Pound-for-pound king Manny ?Pacman? Pacquiao, who successfully seized the WBO welterweight belt from Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto, arrived at the NAIA Terminal 2 aboard Philippine Airlines Flight PR103 at 5:30 a.m.

He was accompanied by his wife, Jinkee, and members of Team Pacquiao. With them were Deputy National Security Adviser Luis ?Chavit? Singson and Environment Secretary Lito Atienza, two of Pacquiao?s close friends.

Pacquiao was warmly welcomed by three of his children, whom he said he missed a lot since he started training for his fight in Las Vegas.

At the airport lounge where he held a brief press conference, Pacquiao said his next opponent will be determined when American Floyd Mayweather Jr. poses the challenge.

"Hindi namin pinipilit na labanan siya. Kelangan siya din ang maghamon. Mas mataas ang pay-per-view ko [We are not pushing the fight. He should be the first to challenge me; after all, I got a higher pay-per-view from my fight]," Pacquiao said.

Asked about his immediate plans, Pacquiao said he just wants to relax first and take a vacation and let his injured right ear heal. He also said he will return to Sarangani province to bond with his family.

"Gusto ko munang mag-relax at pagalingin yung sugat ko sa tenga."

"Baka bumalik ako sa bahay namin sa Sarangani at makasama ang pamilya ko."

As to the request of his mother, Aling Dionisia, for him to retire, Pacquiao said: "I'm still thinking about retiring. Siyempre ginagalang natin ang magulang natin [I respect her advice]."

From the airport, Pacquiao will proceed to the New World Hotel in Makati City where he will have breakfast before going to Quiapo Church to hear Mass at 8 a.m.

He will then motor to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) central office in Quezon City for a 9:30 a.m. courtesy call on Environment Secretary Lito Atienza. After that he will start the traditional parade around major streets of Manila that will end at the Pag-Ibig building in Makati.
