MANILA, Philippines ? The Department of Health (DoH) urged businesses to set up ?contingency plans? in case their workers get infected with the Influenza A(H1N1) virus.

The Department of Health (DoH) has ordered a 10-day suspension of classes at the De La Salle University in Manila after three of its students tested positive for the virus.

In Makati City, a portion of the United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) building was quarantined after a foreigner there showed flu symptoms.

?Work settings should have their own contingency plans based on the risk assessment of the situation,? said Doctor Eric Tayag, chief of the DoH?s National Epidemiology Center.

?There is no one-size fits all formula for alert response in business offices since it is up to the management to assess the situation,? he said.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque meanwhile urged the public to get bed rest if the catch the flu.
