MANILA, Philippines -- Four local flights out of Manila were cancelled Wednesday noon on account of typhoon “Karen” (international codename: Nuri), the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

The cancelled flights were the Philippine Airlines flight to Laoag; Cebu Pacific flight to Tuguegarao; Asian Spirit flight to Basco; and Seair flight to Caticlan.

Respective turnaround flights were also cancelled.

The MIAA said international flight operations have been normal since Wednesday morning.
