Ohio death row inmate Ronald Post, at about 450 pounds (204 kilograms), is so fat that his executioners won’t be able to find veins in his arms or legs for the lethal injection, and he might even break the death chamber gurney, his lawyers say.

An obese death row inmate in the US state of Ohio has asked a court for a stay of execution, saying lethal injection would be “torturous and lingering” due to his weight.
