Malacañang confirmed on Friday that Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo was investigating sensitive matters before he died in a plane crash on Aug. 18, but declined to say if the investigation involved Interior Undersecretary Ricardo Puno.

Undersecretary Puno still with DILG, says spokesman

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) spokesman and office of public affairs director, Attorney Ariel Tanangonan on Tuesday said DILG Undersecretary Rico Puno is technically part of DILG as there has not been any official note on his status.
