Aldy Plenos, 22, was heading for home already from three nights at out at sea around 7 a.m. on Tuesday when he tried to save an unidentified fisher whose outrigger boat was smashed by the strong winds and raging waves that had churned up Sarangani Bay.

PCG holds 2 Malaysian vessels for dumping waste in Sarangani Bay
