One of two Filipino TV journalists freed from eight months of captivity by the Abu Sayyaf said Monday the bandit group treated them “like sons” and that not once were they harmed.
The two TV crew members who were released by the Abu Sayyaf Group on Saturday night were taken as hostages but they were treated well like their children.
More than 20 people were killed and several others were wounded, following the clash that erupted between members of the Moro National Liberation Front and the Abu Sayyaf Group in Sulu Sunday, police said Monday.
