Ortega slay witnesses not going anywhere, says DOJ chief

The remaining suspect turned witness in the murder of Palawan environmentalist and broadcaster Dr. Gerry Ortega remains under the protective custody of the government and will not be transferred to the Quezon provincial jail where another witness turned up dead last week.

‘Text’ ties Palawan ex-governor to Ortega slay

Rodolfo Edrad Jr. disclosed the text message he received from former Palawan Governor Joel Reyes and the ensuing exchange of replies sometime in January last year, before Gerardo “Doc Gerry” Ortega, a popular radio broadcaster and environmentalist, was shot and killed in Puerto Princesa City.
