Seven victims of human trafficking, six of whom were minors, have been rescued by authorities in remote towns in Quirino and Isabela provinces, police said Tuesday.

A total of 5,000 families and over 4,000 students who were affected by typhoons “Pedring” and “Quiel” in September last year in Isabela and Quirino benefited from the rehabilitation projects of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC).
