PH Red Cross sends relief caravan to areas devastated by Ruby

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has sent a “humanitarian relief caravan” to the communities battered by typhoon Ruby (international name: Hagupit)

PRC Chairman Richard Gordon in statement said the caravan would augment field operations in the Visayas to continue to assist the recovery of areas devastated by Ruby.

Results of 2014 licensure exam for teachers released

Filipino teachers under training. Soon public school teachers will enjoy more benefits including higher loans and increase in retirement benefits

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announced on Monday that 25,301 elementary teachers out of 70,786 examinees (35.74%) and 26,767 secondary teachers out of 77,803 examinees (34.40%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) given last August 17 in Hong Kong and 24 testing centers all over the Philippines.
