A TAXI driver was injured after he resisted a robber who held him up in barangay Agus, Lapu-Lapu City. Regino Briones of barangay Guiwanon, Compostela town, Cebu sustained stab wounds in the neck and other parts of the body. The victim was a driver of Sheena taxi. Briones told police that a man flagged him down in Mandaue City past 9 p.m. Monday and asked to brought to Agus.

A 34-YEAR-OLD pedicab driver was fatally stabbed by a drunk man in barangay Poblacion, Compostela town, north Cebu. Police said Joseph Rolly Castro Sanchez was sleeping in his pedicab when he was allegedly stabbed by Rony Lowatlati Alegria, 34, past midnight yesterday.
