The pilot of the ill-fated light cargo plane that crashed into a Parañaque neighborhood two weeks ago could not have been able to perform the proper emergency maneuvers, according to officials of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

The owner of the light plane that crashed into a Parañaque neighborhood last Saturday has surfaced and will appear in the investigation being conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), according to an aviation official.

The plane crash that left 13 people dead on Saturday in Parañaque City highlighted once again the need for open spaces and clearings around the country’s main airport, according to the Civil Aeronautics Administration of the Philippines (CAAP).

The Philippine Red Cross has yet to identify the 13 fatalities in the Paranaque place crash because the bodies were charred and “are all beyond physical recognition.”
