Typhoon ‘Halong’ enters PH, now ‘Jose’

Typhoon “Halong”, its international name, entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday evening and was given the local name “Jose”, the state weather bureau said.

Southwest monsoon to bring rains, ‘Glenda’ lingers out of PAR

Even as “Glenda” left the Philippine Area of Responsibility, rains are still set to fall due to the southwest monsoon, the weather bureau said Thursday afternoon.
