Angat dam water rises to 181.6 meters over minimum normal level


The water level at Angat Dam, which supplies most of Metro Manila’s water needs, returned to the normal operating level of 180 meters above sea level after hovering close to the critical level in the past three months.

Pagasa expects at least 3 storms to hit PH in September

The state weather bureau expects up to three storms to hit the country in September. This is despite the current absence of the southwest monsoon or “hanging habagat”, Alexis Cada of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Friday.
