Teen’s attackers fall

TWO MEN were arrested after they were identified as suspects in the stabbing of a teenager in Navotas City on Tuesday morning. The police identified the suspects as 25-year old Ernesto Llaneras Jr. and a 16-year-old boy, both residents of the city in Carville Homes, Barangay Tanza. They were accused of stabbing the victim, 16-year old Christian Basco, a student and their neighbor. Police reports revealed that the victim was walking home around 1:45 a.m. when the two suspects appeared, stabbed him repeatedly and then fled. The victim’s father found him, however, and rushed him to Tondo Medical Center for treatment. The suspects were later arrested by barangay watchmen who were approached by the victim’s father.
